Missed Something ?

Hey guys, I'm not too sure if I have missed an appointment.
I had my first Midwife appointment at 7 weeks,
Then I had my 8 week scan,
Also my bloods at 14 weeks.

And thats it...

I just rang up for my 18 week appointment and I won't be having that until January 9th. (I'll be over 20 weeks then)

It seems like I should have seen my midwife alot sooner than this

Im not sure how the appts work with MW's but with my doc I had an appt at 7wks and I have appts every 4 weeks since. So I saw her at 7, 11, 15 and now 20 weeks.

I dont know if that helps since Im with a doc not a MW.

I think that's fine if you're not having problems. You have your midwifes number right?

yeah I do, but it's just that the baby hasn't had it's heart checked since 8 weeks and with a history of family heart problems I thought it would be more.

Cheryl, we are in the same area. In the pregnancy record paperwork that they give you to bring to each appointment, on page 10 there is aschedule of antenatal care. I assume you are on level one. It says 18 week appointment is discretionary, then detailed scan then at 24 weeks a midwife appointment. Hope this helps

I'm on level 2 as well. I made an appointment to see her at 18 weeks. If you are worried give them a call.
