was just wondering those of you that work how long b4 its due are you planning on leaving ? xxx

I'm due 20th May. I plan on taking 2 weeks holiday on April 22nd and then starting the Maternity Leave on the 6th so I use my holiday before I go and I have longer off when the baby is born.

I'm due on May 26th and planning to work till mid April. I'm in horseracing, so it's a little hard to gauge, but I'd like to work as long as possible..

yh thats like me i want to try and last out at work as long as poss was thinking maybe 4 weeks b4 due date i work in the house of fraser on beauty department the only annoying thing is standing all day and having to try and sell when im soooo tired lol xxxx

OMG, are you mad. 4 days before your due!!!!! What kind of work do you do? Your very brave leaving it that long.

I was thinking a month before (due 3 June) but I work as a nurse in an orthopaedic ward (heavy workload) so not too sure, plus don't know how long I'd be able to drive up till. x

I was thinking this and Im also having a hard time deciding on a date to start my maternity leave.

I work for the police but Im on light duties, have been since I was 6 weeks preg because of the risks involved with my job, but im office based now and have it pretty easy at work.

Im due 05th May 2008, when do you ladies think I should put down my mat start date for?

How long have you lot got off for your maternity leave too?

Im due on June 2nd and ideally Im gonna take 2 weeks hols before and start maternity leave from my due date.

Fingers crossed anyway. Im trying not to think about it as Im having to train a temp to do my job and I barely know what Im doing myself.

I was due on 7th December but started my official Mat leave on 2nd December. Prior to that I took two weeks holiday from work from 16th November to 30th November.

So i was 37 weeks when I actually stopped working, but my job is not physical at all... I sat at my desk and spoke to customers.

*Edit* My Mat leave finishes 31st August
