Spent most of the night up the hospital :-(

I got home from work yesterday and mentioned to my mum that the baby hadn't moved all day (normally my little guy is going crazy while i'm in work) asked when I last felt him... the more i thought about it the more i realized it was the evening before

My mum tried prodding him to make him move but it did nothing, so she told me to go and have a hot bath to see if that helped. Went upstairs told my OH and burst out crying, so he just cuddled me for a while. Jumped in the bath for 20 mins - did nothing. Called my mum upstairs, she phoned my midwife as by this time i was bawling my eyes out
My midwife told my mum to get me a cold drink of water then get straight up the hospital, my mum had to do all the talking as i couldnt...

Got up the hospital, they looked for a heartbeat... and found it, i burst out crying - happy tears of course!
They told me to go in the waiting room for a doctor to do more tests.... we waited 2hrs... got a bed, took my blood pressure etc, checked the heartbeat again and told me the doctor was on the way - then got turfed out of the bed for someone else and then the doctor couldnt see me because they had an emergency c-section to do.

Sooooooooo.... after all that, i'm going back up today at 11 for a scan to make sure my little guy is ok. Never been so scared in all my life

I'm sure everything will be fine my midwife told me they don't worry about reduced movement until 27 weeks unless there is pain as well. Its good that they are doing everything they can to reassure you.
