This is Gross, but I figured I would ask

I don't go to the doctor again until Dec 18th and I hate to bother him or the nurse unless I really have to. The grossest thing has happened to me, twice now. Once last Friday, and once today. I have been a little constipated so going to the bathroom everyday is not normal. Well on that first day I felt like i had to go so I went to the bathroom and I only had gas, but also some mucusy oily stuff come out too. It came off when I wiped not enough to drip down. Then today, after getting home from work I felt like I had to poo again. So I went and I did but after words I had gas with the same oily mucusy stuff.

What is it?? Is it Normal?? and should I call my doctor about it? It's a bit embarassing but I have never had anything like this before

I think it's probably normal during pregnancy but it never hurts to check. They've probably heard this a million times. I'd try not to be too embarrissed

Sounds like piles to me. I think you can get treatment cream from your pharmacist and don't worry, they're very common in pregnancy. If the cream doesn't help, speak to your doctor as they can get worse I believe but generally clear up on their own if they're not too bad.

Heres some info: http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/h...morrhoids.html

I have had the same thing, and sometimes even a little blood too. My doc told me to take fiber every day (benefiber, metamucil, etc) and that helps. Also you can take a stool softner called Colace that you can get over the counter and it really helps. Just take one and within a day or two you will be able to get something out.
