Car Seat & Travel System - Fit in a Ka???

Need some help ladies!! We've been thinking of gettng another car since we found out I was pregnant, but just can't afford it at the moment, so will be keeping out little Ford Ka.
It's only 3 doors and everyones told us that we will never fit a car seat or get a travel system to fold up in the boot

Does anyone know of anything suitable? I'm starting to panic a bit as everyone keeps telling us we'll never find anything!!

Thanks x

i think im going to have same problem, ive got a vw beetle and the boot is not great. im hoping the car seat can go in front passenger seat with the airbag turned off. i think most places would let you try a pram in your boot before you buy? i hope anyway!!!! otherwise i will be swapping cars with my oh

I've no idea how big your boot is, but maybe a Quinny? If you just use it with the car seat on the chassis, the chassic folds down really small, and you can even take the wheels off with one button to make it smaller.
If you get the iso-fix base as well, you'll not have to worry about climbing in the back of your car and fiddling about with seat belts, but just click the seat on to the base.

Thanks girls! Just having a look at the Quinny now and it looks great! I ideally would like one with a lie flat carry cot as well, so will take a look at this one.
We're also going to head over to the big stores tomorrow to see if we can have a try at fitting a few in the boot!!! Need to test it too I think!!!

The Quinny and the Loola both fit into the KA, and the isofix base would be a good idea, although it will depend on how old your model is, you may have to use the easybase instead. Still much more conveniant.

You can get a carrycot for the Quinny and the Loola, although the one that goes with the Loola is pretty expensive. Mothercare have got the Loola £100 off at the mo,and I think Kiddicare have still got the black Loola for £169.
