Unhappy

Worried about everything!!

Is it normal to worry so much during pregnancy? To start with I was very calm and relaxed. I was sure everything was going to be fine and I'd have a healthy baby. I suppose I just had a feeling about it.

Now I find myself worrying about everything. I'm so nervous about my triple test next week and my 20 week scan which is on New Years Eve! I worry about whether I had a high temperature in the first 6 weeks and whether it's caused a neural tube defect and that I didn't always take my folic acid.

I know I should just try to relax and enjoy my pregnancy but I can't.

I feel totally the same way, it is the scariest thing I have ever done. But my midwife told me off for worrying so much, about how it won't do any good, it won't stop bad things from happening or cause them to happen, nor would it cause good things to happen, it is a waste of energy. So I have been working on stopping, it's not easy. I just have to have faith that things in there are going as they should.

I think we all worry pretty much all the way through pregnancy, this is going to be my 3rd baby & i'm still worried about everything even though i've been through it all before!!

Try not to worry about things too much & look forward to your scan, it will be here before you no it!!!

Worrying throught the pregnancy is completely normal. Seeing as we can't really see whats going on in there, there's just no way we can't worry lol. Try to stay postive, which I know is hard to do. I'm sure your litte one is fine! Good luck on your triple screen test hon.

Well it comforts me to know someone else is still cramping. It has been making me a bit nervous the last few days. I guess we just have sensitive hoo haa's.
