I have two caffeinated teas a day (first thing and lunchtime) and the rest of the time i drink decaf, went onto decaf as soon as i found out i was pregnant.

i kicked smoking pretty fast in my first trimester as it set off my morning sickness, and it still makes me feel ill--salmon too, for some reason--and i briefly went off of coffee as well.

however, and i know this is TMI, i found without 2 cups of coffee in the morning my digestive system slowed to a crawl, so once i came out of the morning sickness i started the two cups of coffee again and now i'm regular as can be. i tried fiber powder, lots of water, decaf coffee, fruits (esp kiwis) and nothing worked, just the 2 cups of regular coffee.

of course when im in the uk the coffee is replaced by decidedly more than 2 cuppas... but since it was a holiday we all know nothing you do on holiday counts
