dont feel right!

hi..

i'm probably just worrying but lately i've not been feeling right...

i felt baby move a tiny bit on wed and thurs,,

but these past couple of days i havent felt pregnant...

i know that sounds weird and you cant feel the baby every day this early, and im probably just being paranoid, i think i just need some re-assurance....

i'm 17+3 today, so just wondering if this is normal at this stage??

Sarah

xx

I'm under the impression that if we can feel the baby move this early on we're lucky! I've had funny bubbling feelings for a couple of weeks now, a proper kicking yesterday and today. But I'm expecting it to die down again as babe's still small and quite low down yet.

I really can't remember much about DS and movements. What I do remember was from being bigger and watching my belly dance in a rather warm bath - was very freaky!!

Nah not to early to feel the baby. I was feeling my little girl at 14 weeks.

Heck I'm 20 weeks and theres some days I feel so normal that I don't feel pregnant. More so when I'm laying in bed on my side and I can't feel the weight of my belly. I think its a normal feeling.

I think there are so many storys on here of girls having horrific pregnancy symptoms it kinda seems like we have to be whining and throwing our guts up to "feel pregnant" but I think havng hassel free "non feeling pregnant" days are great!

Hi hun I just wanted to say I had days like these where baby was really quite, I spoke to me midwife and she said its normal, even tho the baby is moving all the time at this stage you will only feel some of the movements. I got 2 22-23 weeks then movement was constant xx hope that helps

Alot of us worry between the 12wk scan and the 20wk scan as if you feel no movement or not much (which is normal) it can be hard to 'feel' everything is ok and there is nothing to worry about.

Once you have your next scan, that will put your mind at rest and then very soon you should be feeling movements to reassure you. x

I've only recently been able to feel constant movements all day long, and I worry myself if I havent felt her kick for 4 hours or so, but then I remind myself, this is just her sleeping patterns, and I should be thankful she does seem to appreciate sleep as much as i do.... when she is awake, she is awake.
Give it a couple more weeks chick, and your baby will be booting you black and blue too!

You are only a few days behind me. I felt exactly the same, started feeling movements from 16 weeks but they were so spaced out, I'd feel nothing for a couple of days and start to worry.
I've been told this is normal though, and the movements won't be consistent until around 22 or 23 weeks onward.
Bubs will be fine, so try not to worry! x
