Ugh! I had that feeling....

....... So as a few of you know I had my glucose testing today, which didn't go so well. My reading came out to be 140, which is the highest you can go before becoming a diabetic. SO I have to go back with in 4 weeks to have the 3 hour glucose testing done and 3 days before that I have to go on this diet and the night before I go in I cant eat or drink anything after 8pm.

On top of all that I have protein in my urine and I'm borderline anemic.

Last visit my doctor was a little worried about my fluids, so she said when I came in this time she wanted to do another ultrasound to check them, BUT she wasn't there today so I didn't get that US..... they kept telling me that they would bring me back in a week but when I left they ended up just making my next apt. for in 4 weeks.... which upsets me because what if this time they where really low, how will they be in four weeks??? they told me to drink a lot of water, but that all I drink now. If I drink any more water I will drown.

That is a lot for one day Abs! I have my test on Friday so I can't yet share my experience with you but perhaps you can call your docs office back and tell them you're concerned so that they can either reschedule your appointment for earlier or give you more information at least so you don't have to worry so much? Hope it all works out hun (HUGZ)

I called her back and left a message with the girl at the desk.... so I hope she will call me back. I'm so confused right now its not even funny.... at least last time when I left the doc. I knew the baby was ok. Now with everything I dont know.

I'm sorry about the results of the test. I wouldn't let them brush you off hon. Try to get a hold of them and get another appointment sooner. They forget how much we worry and 4 weeks to think about something, especially the fluid is nerve wracking. Good luck hon, I hope things go better for you.

YAY! The doctor office just called and said I could come back in today at 4. so I feel a little better.
