Been signed off work

Hiya,

Well my SPD has gotta worse over last few days and went and saw my dr this morning and signed me off until 19th, but got another appt wit him monday morning and his given me some more tablets to take and cream, but in my area there is about 6 month wait list for physio therapy which we both laughed, anyone else needing physio and not looking like there going to get it?!
Oh worked werent very happy about it, but as dr back dated my time off from thursday there isn't anything they can say!!!
What else di you do to try and relieve the pain? xxx

Hiya i have this too, but cos of complications in my last pregnancy my MW rushed the physio dept and got me in urgently. They did a few exercises with me and i have to go back on thursday, maybe im jumping the gun but i dont feel like it did anything whatsoever except make it hurt more

I dont know what else to try to relieve the pain except rest. Im lucky at work cos i got people running round for me lol

poor you. Don't worry about work, you have to concentrate on you and baby now. That's a crazy wait for physio though bit stupid to put you on a list that long unless they can get you bumped up a bit. Fingers crossed for you

I'm STILL waiting for physio too!!! I've been signed off too! I do long shifts (lots of walking) and work won't let me cut my hours!!!! Grrr!!!

Oh see i just work in an office, but i got one of those new updated desked and there just not comfy neither is my chair, all the gave me was a foot rest but only because another pregnant employer had left i got it!!
They just said they want me to get better, its just also annoying because i dont get paid sick pay, so ill just get ssp!! xxx
