Anyone used Babybond in Manchester...

...if so what are they like? I've just booked my 4d scan over the internet so didn't get much info. Its on monday, do i need to take my notes or have a full bladder? We only paid for the cheapest one so I really hope they are ok! x x x

hey hun i've been there only for an early gender scan at the mo tho, ive got my 4D scan booked for saturday, we've picked the dearest option (so it best be worth it lol)

The gender scan i had was FANTASTIC!!! i honestly can't recommend them enough, i got a DVD, 5 Pictures, and even one in 3D, which we were given as a sneak peak (they offer it to everyone as standard now)

They even projected the scan onto a wall at the foot end of the bed, which was amazing, baby was so big, and it was so so clear and i was only 17 weeks then, they even told me that by the time i went bck for my 4D scan they'd have a better projector, and the images would be even better!!

I'll be 26w & 4d on saturday when i have my 4D scan so i'll make sure i let you know how it goes, as you'll be about the same gestation.

xx

oh sorry i 4got to say as wel (preggo brain) i didn't need my notes, and apparantly you DON'T need a full bladder but the way i think of it is if you go full you can always empty, if you go empty it'll take a while to fill up!

I hear dinking LOTS and LOTS of water in the 2/3days befor it helps to clear the amniotic fluid, which helps produce better piccies! also i think you can take up to 4 people with you incase you were wondering! xx

HAHA! Ash thats so great how enthusiastic you are! I love it! Please let me know and get your pics on here! I am so excited now!

Boothh - Of course i'll let you know and so will Ash! Our due date seems quite popular doesn't it? I am in the middle of deciding whether to go for natural birth or go for a section (consultant has given me a choice because i have a curved spine) if its a section i will be booked in early - not sure how i feel about that! x x x

aw thanks guys

i thought at first i wouldve picked a section if i was given the choice,
but i spoke to my mum alot about it, (she had 2 of us natural and 1section)
and she said if she had another baby now she would much rather go natural again,
she said she found a section to be much more painful and with the longer healing time etc she found it harder bonding with my sister because she couldnt do much for her,

i think this has put me off abit, but then again id probly say section if it was offered lmao :P

i think ill be late, i dont know why i just imagine him to be lazy and end up being a september baby haha, xx

hey girlies just thought i'd let you know - although when i went for my 17 week gender scan i DIDN'T need my maternity notes, i was just reading through my booking form for my 4D scan and saw this - "Please bring your maternity notes with you. If you have booked an Early Pregnancy, Dating or NT scan please attend your appointment WITH a full bladder."

so girlies take your notes JUST IN CASE lol! and i'm going to fill my bladder too just incase, i can always empty it when i get there if its better for the tech! xxxx
