Lets flip the coin . so If you lived in africa and the culture was to do female circumcision you'd be happy with that no me either.. lucky we all have a personal choice in the matter , so let it go. Think about it you could never persuade a one group for circumcision to change there minds to be UN circumcised. Or vise versa so its a catch 22 ?

oh and if a guy is circumcised hes going to say thats better. and im going to say uncircumcised is better theres no winner here ?

I don't think I saw anyone use the word happy.
I do imagine if you lived in Africa, you would expect it(certainly not enjoy it), as it is the cultural norm. It is a bit different too, as the circumcisions performed there are intended to destroy any sexual pleasure. Male circumcision is not. That doesn't mean that those who think it is wrong could argue anyone in Africa out of not doing it.
But yes, there will never be a winning side here. It just team Circ and team Uncirc for now until one "way" becomes obsolete.

i just meant girls or boys who have this done have no free choice, one way or another. if its good or bad they have no choice. Its all preconceived ideas on faith & culture !

Got it.
Yes, I have it admit it would really suck if I had been circumcised!
No sexual pleasure?

It all comes down to cluture. In the uk its rare to see a circumsised willy. Iv only seen 2 and they were for medical reasons. A friend of mine 's oh had to get curcumsised at 22 for medical reasons and he said was better before he had it snipped off.

My son is circumcised, im British and it wasnt for religious reasons, It turned out he had a very tight foreskin and would have needed anyway eventually so im really glad I made the decision while pregnant. Its a very personal choice and theres no wrong or right answer, I just wish it was more readily available in uk.

Im in canada and guys who arent circumcised out here are considered very rare and it is something people act as if its gross. i have seen maybe one guy who wasnt done. its weird how cultures and different places have such a different opinion on it. like in canada well at least in bc where i am its pretty much a given to have it done. I say to each there own i dont see what the point in getting angry and arguing sides is everyone is going to have an opinion on whats right and wrong as with everything in life. I say if it feels right for you do it if not than dont it really is that simple.

However, to correct your mistakes...circumcision does NOT take 6 weeks to heal in a baby, it takes 7-10 days. Also, of course it hurts more when you're older...it's been attached all your life when you're older. You also state that freedom of speech doesn't exsist on this forum...from the forcefulness of your post, you don't believe freedom of choice should exist here either.

Maybe this thread should be closed as well.
yey!!! agree!!!!

My baby's healed pretty fast (a week) and his penis was not bloody at all...and he didint seem in pain at all...
I don't know why ppl jump on peoples throats about this issue...I don't argue about it...ppl attacked me bc I said my son had it done and I said why and I would never argue with ANYONE if they do it or not...it is just STUPID....its up to the parents....umm FREEDOM
