Link to my Journal

Hi guys. I have been absent from the forum for a week due to some unexpected findings on my 20 week scan. Don't really want to go into too much detail on this section as it's such a happy and chilled out sub section, I don't want to bring the atmosphere down!

But if anyone has a spare 2 hours (lol it is long) you could take a look at my journal which i'll be updating as the pregnancy continues.

I would equally welcome any information anyone has on the findings in my scan although I'm sure this is unlikely as I have been searching google extensively and am not really much further in understanding what may be wrong with my little one, although hopefully this won't be the case as we have more scans in the future.

Thanks for reading and hope you are all doing well

Hi hun, I had a look at your journal, and I'm really sorry you have had to worry so much and be so stressed out. I'm sure your baby will be fine other than that one problem, and at least with the doctors being aware of it they will double check everything else for you in the remainder of your pregnancy.
It is great that your family are being so supportive and I'm sure that everyone on here is too.
Please try not to be scared, it is better that you know now that something is wrong so you have some time to come to terms with it, rather than it being a massive shock at the birth. Things will be hard for you but I have no doubt that you and OH are strong enough to deal with this and will give your baby all the love in the world. My thoughts are with you, keep us updated on how you both and your LO is doing, and take care of yourself. xxx hugs:

My son was born with talopies (sp?) - club foot. (His left feet was inverted towards the right leg). They treated it with the cast/special bar shoes and now he is absolutely fine and running around.
I know your situation is different, but maybe it is treatable after the baby will be born?
So sorry you have to go throught this. I know how traumatic it can be

THanks everyone for your words of support, they are really reassuring. We do hope that things will turn out ok, and we'll manage. You deal with what you are given in life i guess, no point in feeling sorry for yourself!

Wombat; thanks for sharing your experience, its so nice to hear of positive outcomes to these types of things. I think our little one may have some form of clubfoot along with the other problem. I am glad that although it must have been traumatic for you, that your little boy it a lot better now. Fills me with confidence when i read positive outcomes to situations such as this.

THanks again for anyone taking the time to read x x
