Most bigger new look stores do them and there's an online site simplybe.co.uk that do plus size clothes and maternity-the clothes are ok from there.

I dont have anything useful to say but wanted to say, good topic. Im in the same boat, when I sit down my trousers are so tight, even when open, then when I stand up they fall down, really, it happened at the garden center

I was told a trick recently which involves wrapping a hair bobble on to your trouser button, passiing it through the hole and back on to the button. It means u can wear you normal trousers for a little longer!!!! I'm just waiting for the bump now so I can try it out!!!!

i don't have tips for where to get plus sized stuff, but i am on the bigger size (size 18 on bottom, 16 on top) and very VERY fussy about how things fit, so it took me ages to find enough maternity trousers to get by. i was really struggling, in the mean time, with the too tight then falling down scenario, what i found helped was getting:

some braces, like old man braces, eg like these on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-small-br...3%3A1|294%3A50

and a bump band.

so then i left my trousers totally undone, zip and all, covered it up with a bump band, and then wore braces to stop them falling down.

it was suprisingly effective, i could have gone on like it and not bothered with maternity stuff, but it is kind of annoying to do each morning and everytime you pee, so not perfect by any means.

Peacocks are great for cheap bits (i got 2 great t shirts for £8) and they go to a size 20 or 22. I seem to be able to find some nice everyday cloithes but am really struggling with a dress for OHs bros wedding that doesn't cost the earth!! Just when I think i've found one I see it stops at a size 14 lol
