freaking out

iv heard that loud noises can bring on early labour, like just after 20 weeks etc,
i work in a nightclub, and have no choice but to be around loud music if i want to qualify for my maternity allowance.
any advice?, is this true?
will it make a difference that bub will be used to this?
thanks
siyren x

ive never heard of this hunny, in which case i would imagine its ok, ive heard that shock can bring on early labour but not loud noises, otherwise they wouldn't let heavily pregnant women go to concerts lol! xxx

thats true actually, they'd probably have to put a warning on tickets right?oh there was also a woman in a magazine this week who said she went into early labour at the cinema and the docs put it down to that. how reliable that is, idk tho x

Oh hun, I've not heard of this either so I'm sure it's really not anything to worry about. If anything it'll probably work to your advantage - when LO arrives they'll be so used to loud noise that you'll be able to do anything, hoover, play music, watch TV, dry your hair, all without disturbing them!

I've never heard that before! I would wonder what about loud music could cause labour, and if it is true you shouldn't have to work around it because of the risk - and your employer should have to accomodate you in some way....
