| freaking out iv heard that loud noises can bring on early labour, like just after 20 weeks etc,
i work in a nightclub, and have no choice but to be around loud music if i want to qualify for my maternity allowance.
any advice?, is this true?
will it make a difference that bub will be used to this?
thanks

| ive never heard of this hunny, in which case i would imagine its ok, ive heard that shock can bring on early labour but not loud noises, otherwise they wouldn't let heavily pregnant women go to concerts lol! xxx | | | | Status: Offline

| thats true actually, they'd probably have to put a warning on tickets right?oh there was also a woman in a magazine this week who said she went into early labour at the cinema and the docs put it down to that. how reliable that is, idk tho x | | | | Status: Offline

| Oh hun, I've not heard of this either so I'm sure it's really not anything to worry about. If anything it'll probably work to your advantage - when LO arrives they'll be so used to loud noise that you'll be able to do anything, hoover, play music, watch TV, dry your hair, all without disturbing them! | | | | Status: Offline

| I've never heard that before! I would wonder what about loud music could cause labour, and if it is true you shouldn't have to work around it because of the risk - and your employer should have to accomodate you in some way.... | | | | Status: Offline
