Tummy Pains

I am 15 weeks today and in quite a bit of discomfort. My lower tummy and back have been hurting for about 4 hours now. I am trying to drink lots of water in hope that it will stop but....

What do you all suggest and has anyone else experience this?

Thanks!

If it's still happenign tomorrow I would ring your m/w just for some reassurance, but I think you might just be having some normal pains. I've had quite a lot of low pain - but I say pain, discomfort equals pain to me - and it might just be the baby is lying funny and the way youve been sitting might have somethign to do with it - for instance when I slump then get up I cant straighten up straight away and get a pain there and it feels like it's where the baby has settled.

Or other times it's not baby related but bowel related, or a case of trapped wind - its surprising how much pain that can cause, and it gets you worried!

I would probably go lie down on my side for a while and see if the pain eases off. ***hugs***

I too, am 15 weeks, and have been having tummy "discomfort" and low back pain for hours at a time, and can not get comfortable. The only thing that I have found to ease my back pain for a little bit is a warm soak in the tub. As soon as I get out though, the pain in my back returns. I would sleep in the tub if I wasnt afraid that I would drown.

Aww babe, i was suffering with the same last night and today in fact. It feels like trapped wind, which is very painful. I had a bath last night to see if it soothed my tummy but i ended up getting out with my hair full of shampoo and throwing up in the toilet - thats how painful it was. I then tried to get some rest but you cant help tossing and turning because you justcant get comfortable can you!! I then vomitted one more time before watching tv to take my mind off it and i eventually got to sleep.

This morning i was late for work because it took me ages to get dressed and walk to the bus stop!

Thinking back, i did have beans toasties for 3 days in a row this week, im blaming that.

Just hope it passes soon - quietly!!
