| Spent yesterday in hospital Hi
Just got up after night in hospital! Went to work as usual but cannot walk very well at all or open my legs wide, now I keep telling the doc's that it is SPD as I had it with Chloe but admittedly not til 28 weeks +
Anyway was at work and couldnt take the pain any longer so went to A+E and immediately they sent me to the Gynecolgy(SP?) ward where I was examined, prodded and all ok,baby fine thank god!
The consultant has given me Codeine an paracetamol which should help with this pain, but the codeine make me tired.
All when I could go home was the conclusion that I have muscular discomfort that is likely (but couldnt confirm yet) to develop to SPD.
I am off work yet again,3 absences in 6 weeks so lovely! Cant get into trouble I know but it is embrassing now, becoming so my manager has had enough of me I am sure,I work in a big factory where to be honest they would rather pay me to stay off but i feel bad,the G.P wants me to rest and stay off but for how long? i wish he would just sign me off now for 14 weeks so then I can go on to maternity early, bloody hell i have had enough as you can tell, lol.
Hope all you's are ok

I'm Currently Feeling: | Awwwwwwwww I am so sorry hun, I sort of understand a little what you are going thru.......I am having some form of problem myself but who knows what it is?!
I hope you feel better soon babe, are you taking your codiene? I am very reluctant as I am on 6 tablets in the morning alone to start the day off, then 3 more tablets twice more during the day, without taking these on top, but I keep looking at them...........I could so easily pop one or 2 LOL!
I really hope you are starting to feel better babe xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Docs do sign off for a long period if it is called for, otherwise they do it in fortnightly intervals........Just tell your GP how you are and see what s/he will do for you!
Best of luck hun! xx |

| Sorry to hear you are having problems bexxie, but Iagree with eveyoe else if GP wil sign you off then go for it and put ypur feet up. I'm alittle concerned about this codeine that Gp's are giving. I too have some as having loads of probs with back and now a clicky right hip ?lower back. As I'm paranoid about taking anything when pg, I looked it up and it is only safe to take upto the 3rd trimester (unless they've changed there mind as drugs book is from 2003). I suppose when you get to 3rd trimester they stop giving you it. |

| It depend which mix of Codeine,Codeine phosphate which i belive of top of my head is 100mg so very strong but a tablet like Co-Dydronal is only 30mg Codeine and 500mg paracetamol so perfectly safe, also Codeine does not cross the placenta like other drugs,so is safe.
I find a Baileys better anyway,lol |
