What happened?

Ever since my OH found out we are having a little girl he has hardly spoke to me...

When I question him about this he swears and shouts at me, telling me to F**k off

I asked him if he is happy and he said yes. He went the pub pretty soon after scan, to celebrate with his parents, he hardly spoke to me. He says he has nothing to say, and what do I want him to say?

Yet he was down the pub for a long time, so what did he say to his friends???

I just don't know what to do or say. Now he just tells me to F**k off and won't speak to me. He says I'm doing his head in whenever I say something he doesn't like...

I don't understand what we have done....

I hope he sorts himself out soon! It took my OH a few days to get used to the idea we are having a girl as he was really hoping for a boy, so hopefully in a few days he will come round. I do agree that he shouldn't be treating you like that though so the sooner the better!!

Awwww..hun I'm so sorry he's being that way. Maybe what was said above is right. Maybe he's just not sure what to do about the girl. He's prolly just in shock and needs time to process it. Maybe try sitting him down, tell him how you're feeling and what things appear like to you and how its affecting you and tell him that if you're wrong then you apologize and ask him what it is that is bothering him exactly and to give you examples so you two can work it out. I do hope he pulls his head out of his tookus soon though. Take care hunny and hang in there!! Big
PS- You know once she is born that she'll be daddy's little girl! They all are!

My OH was worried at first about if we have a girl, as he can't relate to her as he's not a girl, and also (I think this is so weird) he thinks that people will think hes a perv if he changes her nappy or bathes her? (he's not the only one, a couple of my friends have said the same about theirs)

Oh sweet, I'm sorry he's putting you through this. I have to say though that if I get news I wasn't expecting I need time on my own to process it and get my head around it, then I'm just fine. It's cruddy that he's treating you like this but just give him a bit of space and I'm sure he'll come round. In the meantime celebrate your news of your little princess with your BnB friends! Congrats on team pink hun
