reusable nappies....Help!!!!!!

Hey girls... i know there was similar thread recently but cant find it!!!

we really want to use reusables and have looked into loads of different brands but couldn't believe the cost!!!!! so i was wondering who has used / is lanning to use flat terrry's and has any experience in folding them?? the new plan is to get a load of flat terry's and use for in house / at family's with waterproof covers and get 1 set of mothercare shaped nappies which has 4 shaped with wraps etc for outings.....

just wanted your advice on how many flat terry's we'll need how many covers, can we use the disposable liners wih flat terry's to make life easier etc etc also what experience do you all have with folding them??? i have looked on the web site that was on the other thread but the folds looked so complicated and weren't explained very well!!!! (sorry preggo brain!!lol)

as always

If you google "terrys fold techniques" it'll come up with some sites hun

We got 20 mothercare pre-folds for free from freecycle so we don't have this problem so I can't help sorry

But we also have bum genius nappies birth-potty one size and we'll be getting some minky one size birth to potty as well as even at 19.99 per nappy they'll be used for this LO and any future LO's

We will have spent about £200 on our nappies...which is so small considering you can pay about £800 if you use disposables for the first 2.5years
