Hi everyone I'm new here. The whole ovulation thing confuses me so I hope you all can help!

Had a postive ovulation test on the 20th, we had sex that night. Normally we try every night during these few days but this month has been hard with his work schedule making him tired. Tested again on 22, still positive so we had sex again...

My main question is, after getting the first sign of a positive OPK when do you have sex? Is there a time/day that is best? When does ovulation actually happen? When you have your surge and it gives you a positive test, why do some say you ovulate 2-3 days later?

We already have two children, both were planned and didn't take much of an effort...we were mostly just hoping for the best. This time we are actually "trying" with the OPKs and whatnot.

A simple breakdown would be greatly appreciated!

when u get a strong test line thats darker then the control u will be ovulating in the next 12 - 34 hrs i think...im pretty sure everyone gets the lines there its weither or not there dark enough to say ur having a lh surger.

when u get a postive i would have sex asap and the next day after just to make sure u catch the eggie ..and every second day after.

have u got regular periods??

My opinion is to BD every day from the first positive OPK until 2/3 days after it goes neg! Hard work (but fun)!
