Have to say never thought I'd be moving over to the 2nd trimester - If someone had of told me I would be doing this now I'd have laughed at them!!

Had a nervous 8 weeks even though I got the HB on doppler at 9.5 weeks I still thought someone would say I was barmy! Got away with sickness & now starting to look pregnant & can't stand the heat when the suns out.

Hopefully I will sail through lightly & sickness won;t bit eme in the arse since I seen thats possible lol!

20th June 2007:

[h1]My Update..MW..Consultant..Headaches[/h1]

Well not been on since Friday but a couple of updates.

First one headaches ARGHHHHHHH .... I rarely rarely get headaches & its been near constant for 3 days Hate it.

Monday - MW ... Impressed and not so impressed. It went well she gave me lots of info, leaflets, a book & lil freebies hehe Took bloods EEK & a water sample & gave me appointment for 16wk check-up. Well she also tried for babies HB & could not get it, knowing I have doppler said she usually tells people not to worry but I had heard it ?? So I asked could I try she politely told me (lol) that she knew what she was doing but gave me the probe & of course within 30 seconds there it was she was a lil gobsmacked

Anyway other thing was if anyone remembers I mentioned a while ago when I moved here the MWs contacted a consultant at the ANC because of background no doc new to area etc an he made me a small plan of care an wanted to be involved one thing was a repeat lupus test well the MW was shocked I had not got a letter to see him so arranged for that on 4th June. Funny I had planned to bring that up because if I am positive for lupus I should have started injection by now maybe so a further 2 week wait has pissed me off esspecially as it tied in with the statement "if lupus the bigger danger is up to 25 week rather than the 12" so why am I waiting? Tempted to ring today ... infact think I will thats not on.

So there you go thats been my update up to now

On a brighter note I listen to babies HB often as I only need to lightly place the probe on him/her & OMG I am 14 wks moro

*UPDATE*

I'm off to ANC moro for the test & I will see consultant next week - it will be a diff person as Mr Taylor isn't about but tbh priorities are I DONT CARE as long as I am tested for this within a week not 2-3!!

21st June 2007:

I went to ANC the lady was lovelyyy & a plus side is she got ah old of my consultant this AM to discuss me with him ... He is VERY happy I have got to 14 weeks & is very comfortable now with my ongoing pregnancy. He is pleased I have been taking baby aspirin & would like to see me on the 4th. I've had a handful of bloods done through them not just the lupus & she has it as priority to check on results & chase if need be next Friday. Has also given me a direct number for her if I feel concerned & I can ring her to check on results if that makes me feel better. Should there be a problem before then they will contact me (a postive result) - i will see Mr Taylor on the 4th & sooner with someone if it is positive.

Personally have all crossed the borderline previously was just a one off.

So I am comfortable with his advice & words through this lady this morning.

[h1]Lupus Result[/h1]

NEGATIVE

I'm sooooooooo pleased The woman from ANC rang a min ago shes so nice said she was thinking about me today & checked before she went home & there it was. Told me consultant still wants to see me & he may want to scan me again - arrange to on the 4th anyway just to keep an eye on things. I guess they have taken me seriously but having just moved here when all this started it wasn't the easiest for them to find the best plan of care & stuff.

But anyway Very happy!
