Oooooh this feels weird!

I have clocked up just over 2900 posts on BnB as I start this pregnancy journal - something I really didn't imagine doing any time soon! It's really odd to make the transition over here to first tri, so I might still hang around ttc a little while too till the gals kick me out good and proper!

So, here's the quick profile:
TTC no.2 17 months, massively surprising BFP almost immediately after cd3 and cd21 tests. I had (or have?) low progesterone and was off the supplements for this month only, which of course is when I got meself up the duff!

During my first pg I also suffered from low prog., and had a threatened m/c. Spent a week in hospital having prog. shots in my bum plus taking pills orally, and had to continue the pills until safely into the 2nd tri. I'm a bit paranoid about how it's going to pan out this time...

Still waiting to see my GP as I went last week and they told me it was too early - come back in 2 weeks! (I live in Bulgaria where the health care system is slightly odd at times). I will probably head back there mid-week and see what they say.

So, here I am!

Hey Magic,

Glad you started your preggie journal. Best of luck. How will you know if your suffering low progesterone again? Will theretill be some in ur system from last cycle or does it dispear quite quickly.

Just read through the ups and downs of your last 20 pages or so of your TTC journal. Love the ladies you had with you there, some great laughs =D Went back as far as I could be bothered ... but have to ask ... what is this willy hugging they're talking about?

Anyways, congratulations! Hope you'll have a healthy 9 months with this little one =)

Shinning_Star- I don't know about the progesterone. I will ask my gyno when I (finally) manage to get referred to him. With LO it was the bleeding that gave it away, but if I do have low prog. still then I would prefer to have it sorted out before things get that far obviously!

Jolyn So cool you have a scan in 3 days!!! So exciting hun! I'm really hoping to get one this week - but is it too early? All this early pg stuff is new to me!!


Did my first poas for a while this morning, and it's a lovely one - so I think I can stop now. Will post a pic when I can shift LO off my lap! Feeling a bit dubious today though, as I woke up at 4am with massive cramps Turns out I have a dose of the runs, so at least not bean related, but I'm a bit paranoid about it. I'm guessing that it's so early that any stomach upset I have won't affect beanie - anyone shed any light? I'm also worried about where it came from as everyone else is ok... hoping it's not from the cats ... the word "toxoplasmosis" is echoing round my head but I know I'm probably over-reacting!
