So, even after the doctor informed me today the test they did was negative, I'm starting my journal.

Got my on Tuesday 9th September on a FRER (well, 2 actually, cause I couldn't believe the first one!)
Did a digi on Wednesday 10th, with a 'pregnant' result. Gave the doc a urine sample on Thursday for testing, and at my appointment today was told it was negative. Yeah right. She dated me at 7 weeks and one day, and sorted out my antenatal care. Basically, she's as convinced as I am that I'm pregnant.

Sent DF out to ASDA this evening for some HPTs though, just to prove to myself the doc was wrong, and, obviously, the test line appeared after about 30 seconds.

So, although I intended to wait til I got my second pg test results back from the doc on Friday before starting this journal, I thought, what the heck, I'm definitely with child so I may as well start now!!

I hope they didn't get your sample mixed up with someone elses and there's someone out there worried because they're preggers. How can it have been negative? How strange!

I never thought of that. Some poor person either panicking because they're preggers, or celebrating, and they're not really!

I reckon the lab test is just not that sensitive. It'll be positive on Friday!

Nothing much to report today. Just getting into the habit of posting in here and not TTC journals!

Exhausted though, and I've got to leave for work shortly. Groan! College tomorrow morning, then at lunchtime DF and I are going to look at a bigger flat along the road (we're number 6, going to look at number 12!) It's a 2 bedroom rather than the 1 we're in just now. Though this flat does have a small room big enough for bub but not big enough to be classed as a second bedroom. We would probably be fine in here for a while, but what with all the stuff I know we'll accumulate, we're as well moving before the bub comes rather than after!

Right, off to get changed for work. Wish I'd had a nap at lunchtime!!

Yay, good 2 see u over here hun! Congrats again and can't wait to catch up with ur pg journal now instead of ur ttc. It takes a while to stop popping into the ttc journal, but it'll sink in soon enough

Hope ur feeling ok and don't get too sick in the next couple of weeks

I'm sure it was just that the test was less sensitive!!! Hope work went well and you get plenty of sleep before college

We're definitely putting a deposit down on that flat! Just been along to see it, and it's honestly twice the size of the one we're in now, and only £70 a month more rent. Just need to scrape together a deposit from somewhere now, since we won't get the one back from this flat for another 5 weeks, and they we can start preparing to move!!

I'm actually not too tired today, though the thought of another 6 hours of work tonight is not a good one. Groan!

Also, just thought I'd inform all those who I boasted to about my glowing complexion, I am now like Mrs Spot from the planet spot.

Well, I went to the doctors to get my results today, and the nurse called me in. She had this really serious voice on and says 'So, it was a pregnancy test, yes?'
Me: 'Yes.'
Her: 'What result were you expecting?'
Me: 'Positive.'
Her: 'Well, it is.'

She obviously saw the relief/delight on my face, and asked if it was planned. Once she realised it was, her tone lightened!! To be fair, I've been told I look about 17, so if she wasn't paying attention to my file, she probably thought I was just another teenager who got pregnant by accident.

So, yay!! Doctors test finally confirms it About time!!
