16 weeks
By popular demand.... well, ok Wobbles mentioned it out of politeness here is my PG diary.
Tuesdays are always good days because it means another week has ticked by and my ticker on here changes. It's a bit of a ritual now, that I check what it says and email OH at work. Every week, every inch and every ounce is such a huge blessing and a relief.
I've always felt madly in love with OH (apart from when we first met and the first few years we knew each other, but that's a long story ) but this pregnancy has given us just the most incredible bond. I love every tiny bit of involvement and interest he shows. From rubbing the cream on my tummy every night (and my boobs, he seems to enjoy that bit quite a lot), to reading catalogues and pregnancy books and stroking my tummy. I know how lucky I am. We had this wonderful moment the other night where he looked into my eyes and said "I can't believe this is happening".
I'm amazed how much I worry. Last night was bad, because out of the blue I had really bad diarrhea and I was terrified I might have food poisoning or caught the tummy bug that's going around. Not for me, but worried I may have hurt them in some way. Anyway all seems ok today earlier on they were pretty wriggly so it must be good. I love feeling them, albeit little flutters and the odd kick and can't wait for OH to feel them too.
Yay, love reading your diary Helen. And awwwww you and your OH sound so romantic !
Cant believe you are 16 weeks already !! Am soooo excited for you !!
I had 3 random acts of kindness come my way today:
1. Colleague made a detour on her way to work this morning to go to the supermarket and pick me up some de-caf tea-bags because she knew we'd run out at work and wanted to make sure I could have tea today (I only drink de-caf).
2. Another colleague offered to make me a cup of tea at lunchtime when she saw me in the staff room and went all the way back up to my office to pick up my own mug rather than make it in a dodgy spare mug.
3. The H & S rep made a little trail of grit from the front door to my car door after it had been hailing today.
