Well may as well attempt one.

Joined up in January for advice as you do with my then ex partner. Shortly afterwards he decided to get back with his ex and their child so I got shot of him on my 24th birthday. Met my current partner in March, he is nearly 27 and lives 3 hours away it is what you could call love at first site. We weren’t planning on having a child, especially as we have only been together 3 months on June 17th and I have always been extremely careful.

The past month has not been easy both with Uni work, quitting my old job, starting a new job and my grand-father passing away so you can imagine my mind has been working over time. I should have had my period around the 6th June 2008 and by the following week alarm bells starting ringing. I brought a cheap test from the pound shop and didn’t expect a positive. Obviously I mentioned it to my man and he was in limbo and wouldn’t believe it until the doctor confirmed it the following day.

I decided to take a few days off work and travel down to my boyfriends where actually he has been rather excited. I think mainly because his previous partner fell pregnant but had an abortion without consulting him so when I said I was keeping it he was chuffed. In fact so chuffed he has actually picked the names out and is planning on transferring up to be closer to us.

I have my first mid-wife’s appointment on the 24th and a reassurance scan on the 3rd July which my OH will be there for. I would say I am more nervous than excited at the moment and I am getting the morning sickness, tiredness, bigger breasts (this I am not complaining about) and find myself tearful at random things including the nature program the other day.

HORMONES HAVE WELL AND TRULY KICKED IN.

Well if im correct itl be either the 9th as per my 28 day cycle or i am prone to 32 day cycles which will make it the 14th February

Ahhhh so it could be a valentines baby for you then, how lovely!! I cant believe we are into Feb babies already ..

Yeah it could be fingers crossed although my birthday is the 28th Jan and 3 members of my family have hit the same date in the past 4 generations so where routing for that x

Not update this in a while its been a hectic few weeks where do I start........

3rd July had my reassuranse scan they put me back to 7 weeks 4 days but was amazing to actually see its little heart beat although it didnt resemble anything like a baby. (pictures below)

I have got my 12 week scan through for the 30th July.

My hormones have been all over the place im either happy, sad, crying, smiling you name it ive been it.

Sickness is starting to ease and im sleep when I can. At this time of writing im 10 weeks and 2 days.

Friday 18th July had about 5 minutes of spotting (bright red) after work the OH took me to A+E where the triage nurse observed me and the general outcome looked good. They still referred me to the EPAC clinic.

So today I had a scan 'internally' and there he/she was - looks amazing has legs, arms and resembles more of a baby. Then nurse couldnt see any signs of why I had bled early.

Next week my partner will accompany me to the 12 week scan - im lucky to have seen my baby twice already
