Are you sure there wasnt some dirty old man behind you trying to pull your pants down?

Thats funny!

I usually get the pulling sensation in my tummy! I find I get lots of twinges there! I had to have a c-section with my 1st! And I find that the scar tends to be a bit tender! :O
Oh well such is life! They do say that you notice more twinges when its you 2nd pregy etc....

Aww well I am glad I am not the only one.

5 weeks 6 days: I am really worried this morning. I had cramps last night and a little this morning and I do not feel sick one bit. I know everyone put my mind at rest last week by replying to my thread and I just read it again to ease my mind... but I still can't help worrying this morning. My dad just said "I was hoping you'd have morning sickness by now" and that made me worry more. But then he said "actually your mum never had it" but it still didn't help.

I am thinking of ringing the docs and asking if when I have my appointment with the midwife they will do a dating scan just to put my mind at rest... has anyone ever done this and did they allow you to have one with no fuss? I hope so.

Red face

Yup! I just asked my doctor if I could get a scan done (especially if you have m/c before and you are worried)...but you could lie and and say that you dont know when your last period was...or cant remember! or failing that just say that you have had some spotting and pains in your tummy and are really worried about it...
They should say ok...and get you to go for a viability scan and dates etc...thats what I had done no worries...most drs are nice enough to realise that you stressing about it is not a good thing for you and bubs!
A bit sneaky, but if it gets you what you want and makes you feel better why not!
GOOD LUCK HUNNY

My mother never had morning sickness, she thinks it's a myth Then again she thinks O symptoms are a myth too.

I'm sure you're fine lovely but Marina is right, lie a bit

I can't believe it says 6 weeks on your ticker! It's feels so surreal to have you off the TTC board and here! Looks like time flies! And Holly's ticker is gasp worthy as well!

Cheers for posting on mine darling, I'll keep an eye on you on this one and here's a truck load of love.

Youve still got plenty of time for it to come yet hun, but if its reaaaaaally bothering you ask your midwife at the appointment for an early scan. failing that go private for one, i think theyre about £80 ... well worth every penny if it puts your mind at rest

Thank you everyone ahhh it's great having you all only a tap tap tap away on the keyboard!

I feel a little more positive, I don't know why I keep needing reassurance - I have been given plenty already. I will ask for an early scan anyway just because I think it will put my mind at rest once and for all... and I will be naughty like you said akamummy

Thanks again everyone, you're all fantastic! xxx
