Halfway there but still got a long way to good so I thought I'll start one of these
Summer 07 - Fell pregnant but that ended with a miscarriage Things didn't turn out too well with my partner either but we got over it. Jan 08 - Fell pregnant again. Then kinda decided it would be best to get abortion as i wanted to have a career things and be financially stable before having a family (I'm 17 by the way 18 in June). Also because I'm chinese my parents would be like Feb 08 - Starting to get really bad pregnancy symptoms morning sickness, tiredness etc etc. Ended up skipping ALOT of 6th form. Plus my nan was looking after me at the time because my parents went on holiday, so she didn't think much of it. Parents eventually came back and mum became really suspicious. In the end i just told her i thought either way shes gonna find out and i'm gonna have to deal with the screaming and shouting anyway. Surprisingly she was fine upset but fine. I then told her i had appointments booked at the hospital to get everything sorted as i was gonna have an abortion. March 08 Abortion Appointment - At this point i was about 12 weeks so i had to have an late termination. Got to the hospital spoke to people about it and it did not sound nice. I already knew that i couldn't of gone through with it as the miscarriage had like scarred me for life. After the appointment i told the doctor that i had changed my mind
My partner was delighted On the way back from the hospital his mum was on 'I'm gonna be a nanny!!' Basically screaming out the car window Mother's Day 08 - Me and my cousin decided to cook for mums. I told my mum that tomorrow i had a doctors appointment to sort out abortion papers. Even though she wasn't extremely angry about me being pregnant i was too scared to tell her that i was going to keep the baby. Day After - Went to partners place, then we decided that i would write them a note saying i was keeping the baby and was going to stay at a friends place for a while because i didn't want to deal with the conflict. Me and my partner ended up staying at his uncles for a few days. My dad then called my partner's mum and had a HUGE arguement down the phone saying it was all her fault. My dad even said that she only wants me to keep it because she couldn't have her own anymore (Her husband had a operation for cancer). That MUST of hurt...I felt so bad. Week After - We then came back to partner's mum house because my partner had college and i didn't want him to miss out on a lot of work. A good month went past...Didn't hear nothing from my parents. Last time i spoke to them was on mother's day
But hearing from my cousin that my dad keeps after if shes spoken to me everytime she walks through the door. This Saturday - Arranged to go clothes shopping with my cousin (Cause I'm getting huge) And decided if we have enough time i might go see them. Hopefully they have cooled down a bit since mother's day but I'm still dreading it 20 weeks and 4 days now and got my scan on Thursday to see what sex the baby is Hoping for a girl but every seems to think its gonna be a boy. Knowing my luck it'll be a boy *Quick Note For People Having Trouble With Telling Parents*
Because my parents are from china and brought up proper chinese culture way, i thought they would extremely mad when i told them. They always told me 'Don't get a boyfriend until you finish uni' 'Don't have sex' 'Use protection and don't get pregnant' I ignored all them Didn't help that i was brought up with a different culture that my parents didn't like.
Anyway the point is in the end they're gonna find out, and if you be honest and tell them they might not take it as bad as them finding out themselves. No matter what happens you decide whats gonna happen and they have to get used to the idea.
