Just back from my maternity acupuncture session.....

My appointment was supposed to be at 1.20pm so I arrived smack on time thinking they may well be running late....try to form I sat until about 1.40 and decided to ask how long I would be waiting. The m/w who does the sessions hadnt even arrived!!! I felt hungry so I told them I needed to eat and I'd be back. I went and got a little take out salad from the canteen and brought it back to eat in the waiting area. Finally at 2pm she arrived like a whirl-wind and we got started. I was supposed to be having acupunture and cupping but her cups were playing up so it was pins only.
After she took the details, I laid on my side and she put pins in my head, neck, shoulders, back, leg and foot!!! It's not painful and they just tingle a bit. I laid for 15 mins or so then she pulled them out and told me to book an appointment in 2 weeks.....I'll let you know what I think.....

I had a crappy day yesterday. In a nutshell my car is shagged. I took it for a service ready for us going away and towing the caravan of love and they rang me to say it needed over £800 worth of work... So we had to decide what to do. The man at the garage basically said 'get rid'. We really could do without this right now. We dont owe anything on the car but the value of 4x4's is plummeting with fuel costs and tax increases. So with a very heavy heart I have parted with it and bought a normal car YAWN. My Mum has given me and my sister some money from my Grandad's estate so that's paid for it - I really wanted that as a bit of a nest egg but hey ho.
The car has got loads of fancy bits like posh wheels, leather trim, 4 CD thingy, magic lights and windscreen etc but its still doesnt light my fire. Keith likes it and its practical and should be a bit better on fuel. We can still tow the caravan and the main thing is we'll be safe. I collect it tuesday.

Tonight I'm going to my friends with Emily. Keith is going to a wine tasting which I could have gone too but its too much of a bloody tease - I LOVE

Its my nephews first birthday on sunday and they are having a BBQ weather permitting. Should be good.

I know its all a bit frightening isnt it.....most of my friends still havent got over us getting a caravan.....it took me a while to TBH!! But we are firmly addicted!! I will not be giving up my foreign holidays though.....noooooo way!!

I got a Vauxhall (YAWN) Signum. It's a 2.2DTi with lots of tweeky stuff so I'm sure I'll learn to like it. I just like ramming people off the road in my Chelsea Tractor!!!!
I've always had cars that I love. Before the Land Rover I had a little Merc A Class which I really liked and before that I had a Mini Cooper and a Golf. I even had a Tigra years ago and I thought I was the cats pyjamas!!! I fall out of love with cars quickly but I'm not even in love with this one to start with.... I dont know if its part of admitting things are gonna have to change and I need to be....dare I say it.....a bit more sensible again.....

I'm sure you'll get used to your new car, however i wouldn't like to park it!! But if you had a landrover am sure your used to parking big cars.
I'm due to inherit my husbands Audi A3 in a few months as he has decided he needs a new, bigger car!! So i get his cast offs!! Its only 2 years old and i do love it cause its diesel and really shifts. But i keep winding him up! Surely its my turn for the new car!!

I can park a bus on a fag packet!! Its one thing I am good at - when people are in with me they cringe at the spaces I attempt to get in and I always nail it!!

good on ya chick! I have never had the luxury of being in love with a car...most of mine have been bombs! But hey they were reliable and got me from A to B!

Oh I'd love a new car, no chance living here tho, the one drawback of my house is that we are on quite a busy road with no parking, tis a pain in the ass!

Im like that with parking too ... if its big enough for a car i WILL fit into it!! I used to get told off when i learnt to drive for squeezing through such tiny gaps, just goes to show us women arent all crap drivers eh!!
