I'm Currently Feeling: | Well the scan went really well but my stupid dogbot of a hubby (there you go Holly ) left the picture at work...... I'll post it on monday...
She is measuring exactly as she should be from the dates they gave me at 12 weeks so 13th October it is!! The sonographer was cracking some very lame jokes but over all it was a good experience and I was back at work for 9.30am!! We got one picture and Keith asked to look at it and then handed it back to me so I gave it him back and told him to take it to work - after all I get to take Hebe with me everyday!!
They also said I have an anterior placenta which is NOT low - apparently this is good and shouldnt cause me a problem when I come to give birth.
Emily is back from her week away with school and it was lovely to see her. She said that she'd been talking to her friends about Hebe - including her own friend called Hebe!! her girlfriends said that they loved the name Hebe Ellan.....good taste!!
A couple of people have asked me if I'm nervous about giving birth and as I told them, I can honestly said I am really looking forward to it. Not just because I'll have her in my arms at the end but because I really cant wait to experience the whole thing again. I feel like this time it will be different. With Emily I felt like it was all happening to me and I had no control whatsoever - I just did as I was told. I was bollocked by the midwives for making too much noise and upsetting my husband!!! I was only just 20 for crying out loud!!! And I was induced and no one told me that induced labour often starts off much more intense than normal labour does and that it can settle down. I just thought 'if this is what its like to start with I'm never gonna get through hours of it getting worse!!!' It wasnt a great experience. Having been through it last year as my sister's birthing partner I feel much better prepared. I know things rarely go according to plan but I think I wont be pushed around like I was back then - I am WAAAAAAY more gobby these days!!! So I cant wait!!! I just hope that I go into labour naturally. I want that whole experience of it building up and deciding when to go to the hospital etc.

I'm Currently Feeling: | My neck/shoudler/back ache is back today.... I dont think I've done anything particular to cause it.
When I sleep I tend to lay on my side - mainly the left but sometimes the right. I used to always sleep on my tummy with one knee raised up. The last two nights when I've woken up I've found myself so far over on my side that I'm crushing my bump. I've had creases on my skin and my bump is lopsided, like she's had to move right over coz I've squezed her out.....I really hope she's ok. I;ve tried a pillow but my bump is in that inbetween stage - not enormous and hard enough to stop me rolling over but still just small enough for me to end up slightly on it.
Had a lovely day today. Keith went fly fishing - I bought him a day out for his birthday - Me and Emily collected my MIL and then picked up Seth, my nephew and went with them and my Mum to watch my MILs friend abseil down a dam close to my Mum's house. http://www.kidneyresearchuk.org/content/view/133/186/
The weather was gorge - I wish we'd done a picnic really but we went out for lunch after which was yummy.
Keith came home and BBQd the fish he didnt catch!! The fella who took him gave him the one he caught!
So we've just got in from the garden and I'm gonna chill out and maybe eat a Magum....
