It's cool that you know the sex, even cooler that you've gone and brought some clothes. Is the need to buy still there or are you going to wait a few more months to buy the big items?

Hey you - hope you're doin ok.

I think having a little splurge has helped dampen the urge for the moment. I was feeling a little like I hadnt done anything and I really should have started.
We've got the big stuff lined up, just not collected it as yet. I'm having my nephew's cot and changing table so that wont come till the last minute and the pram is at the MILs. So that's it for a while now....I think.....

Wink

Thats soo cute!
I went WINDOW shopping today...we were looking at a cot, change table and whether we were going to go witha bassinette first and then a cot or just a cot! We decided to go with just a cot! (cheaper in the long run!)
But we will have to get everthing again as when we moved to Aussie...we had to sell all my DS furniture coz otherwise it would cost too much to move! We came over from NZ!

But happy shopping anyways!

I'm knackered.

The past 2 days I've been at work for 7.30, worked till 4 and had no break whatsoever. I ate my ceral and 3 rich teas yesterday and cereal and 2 slices of toast today!!! Today was supposed to be my 'quieter' day as there was no exam in the afternoon.....its been mental!!!
I emailed the deputy yesterday (who I work for) and copied in my 'line manager' (who hasnt got a scoobies what I do) so it was in writing that I'd worked 8 hrs+ without even getting to go for a wee!!!!! Nothing will happen but its on writing so if they sign me off I can say 'its your fault you bunch of eejits - I warned you!!'.
Freaks.

Keith's now saying he's undecided on the name Hebe. I want to start calling her by her name but I cant or I'll get the old 'I dont know why you ask me anything - you should just tell me whats going to happen' routine.

I have read my names book from cover to cover and I can only find 1 other name I like which is Amber - and I dont love it like I love Hebe.....

Men!

I do Holly!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I'm just gonna have to let him think I'm considering other names and then keep coming back to it. He sugested Sophie last night which is nice but I want something more than nice!!! Plus our surname is Sykes - I dont want an 'S' first name!!! Wat if she has a lisp like me and my sister did when we were little!!!! My nephew is called 'Seth Szyzcak' (prounounced SIGH-ZACK) and I love it but if he has a lisp like Ashley did its gonna be a gob full innit!!!!!!

Another day at the nut house.....

Another kid asked me if I was pregnant today - I guess I'm officially showing!! I've not managed to eat very well this week with me being so busy at work so when I weighed myself this morning I wasn't suprised to see I've lost 3 lbs. So my total weight gain to date is 3lb. A bit rubbish really but I suppose there's plenty of time yet!!! I got a letter from the Dr's about my blood tests from last week. As suspected I've got a low haemoglobin count so I've got to collect a prescription for iron tablets. I havent felt as out of breath this week and I asked them what the levels came back at and they were 10.9 so only just under. Black poo here I come.......

I talked to Keith about the whole 'Hebe' situation.....he basically said he wasnt saying he didnt want to call her it but he thought there was plenty of time to decide. Erm.....NO!!! I want to start calling her by her name NOW!! he laughed and said 'we all know that if you've decided then thats that!' Erm.....CORRECT!!! You're learning!!!

I have got a massive craving for chocolate - any kind involving Cadbury's milk choc..... and I really want a choc ice too.....he's going to get me one on his was back from cricket practice. How the hell havent I put a stone on yet!!!??

I've started with very low level heartburn so my friend recommended peppermint oil capsules - totally safe to use and do you know what - they are very good!!

Hebe.....(see how I did that)....is moving around lots more. Keith felt her move last night - only very gently but his eyes lit up.

I cant wait for the weekend. It's my Dad's retirement party which will be a good laugh with all my loonie southerner rellies there. I've got very little else planned and I'm looking forwrd to that a lot!!

Sounds like he's coming round to Hebe already!! Give it another week or so of calling her it and he'll be sorted.
