I figured I'd start my own little journal.. it'll be nice keeping track of everything that happens!
Well, I got my BFP on 15th March & it came as a bit of a shock. I'd felt different, like the first time I got pregnant, but the positive digital test still knocked me for six!
Me & my fiance are very happy though.. I think he wants this one to be a little boy. I'd love a boy too, but we have so many pink things.. another girl seems much more practical! Oh well, as long as this little one's healthy.. that's all that matters.
I'm 8 weeks tomorrow & I have my first midwife appointment on monday, so I'll probably make another post after that =)
Wow.. Well I'm 8 weeks 2 days today, & I just had my first midwife appointment. It was nothing like I expected it to be.. I thought she'd take bloods & my blood pressure & weigh me etc.. but she didn't do any of those things, apparently I have to wait until my next appointment for all that. She booked it for 1st May, so I'll be 10 & a half weeks by then.
I told her about the pains I'd been experiencing on & off, which were mainly on one side, & she rang the EPU about it.. they want me to go in tomorrow for a scan! I'm nervous, but kinda excited.. if everything's ok, I should be able to see my little bean & his/her heart beating away in there!
Oh well, as long as this little one's healthy.. that's all that matters.
