I'm 10 weeks + 2 days today.

I have my "booking in" appointment with the midwife on thursday & I can't wait! I want to get my 12 week scan sorted. It might end up being at 13 or 14 weeks though. But I don't care.. that just means there'll be more of my little one to see!

I've been feeling better lately.. I haven't thrown up for about 3 weeks now. I'm still funny with food though.. I have to be in the mood for something to eat it & right now I have no idea what I want for lunch.

I keep trying to find my LO's heartbeat with my doppler, but still no luck. My daughter was awkward when she was in my tummy.. whenever the midwife tried to listen to her heartbeat she moved away from the doppler. So I think this LO must be awkward too!

I know a lot of you still don't know me very well, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to introduce you to my family!

This is me:

This is my OH (this pic is a couple of years old now):

This is our daughter Jenny just after she was born (she was only 5lb 1oz):

This is Jenny now:

Thanks! =)

I'm definitely finding out what I'm having (if baby co-operates!). I keep changing my mind about what I want.. but I think I want a little boy this time. I know I'll be thrilled either way though!

I'm 10 weeks + 3 days today =)

I'm really starting to consider having this baby at home. I think I'm going to mention it to my midwife at my appointment on thursday just to get her opinion on it. I'd love a relaxing, calm environment to give birth in.. & I want my OH with me for the whole labour & afterwards.. I didn't like being alone last time.

I'm really looking forward to my midwife appointment.. I wanna get my scan sorted so I have a date to look forward to!

It makes the whole waiting time a little more bearable if youve got scan and appointment dates to look foward to eh?

Your so brave thinking about a home birth ... all i cant think of is the mess lol

10 weeks + 6 days today =)

I had my booking in appointment with the midwife yesterday. She's so nice, I'm really happy about that. She was a bit evil with the needle though.. ouch. It doesn't usually bother me, but it seemed to hurt more than normal

Anyway, the appointment was fine.. I didn't mention home birth to her because she didn't ask "where are you having the baby" & she had so much to get through that I thought I'd leave it til a later appointment when I have more time to talk to her.

We talked about how my daughter was IUGR & she said there was a very small chance it could happen again, so after 20 weeks I'm being referred to a doctor at the hospital & apparently I'll get more scans than normal Let's just hope nothing goes wrong in this pregnancy.. I'm aiming for a nice average 7 pounder this time!

Oh & I just got a call from the doctors.. they had the results from my bloodwork already & apparently my iron is really low (which explains the super-super-tiredness I've been experiencing) so they've prescribed me some iron tablets which I'm going to pick up later today.

Other than the tiredness, I'm feeling good today.. my nausea only appears every once in a while now, so I'm hoping by 12 weeks it'll have buggered off completely!
