I am going to keep myself amused in this journal on my journey in becoming a Mummy for the second time...
Grace is my DD, she is 2 and a half....I just love her so much, she is perfect! I am married to Martin and am very happy with my lot!
After University and various career paths I decided to settle as working as an Area Sales Manager, a lot of work done from home and the dusty street of Manchester!!! Very demanding job but suits my pocket and family life!!!!
I am 4 weeks and 4 days preggers and am feeling very relaxed. I had a mc last August but am not goin to be paranoid!

Have decided to get an early scan at 6 weeks, so am ringing my EPU tomorrow and sorting it.
But then will have to wait till week 20 before I have another...so going to look into having a Nuchal scan me thinks....but will ring a clinic and look into this...may just have a few more re-assurance scans...I dunno??? See how I feel I suppose..
I have allready got a really good dopler that listens to the baby's heartbeat...I used this with my DD every evening- this gave me so much reassurance!!!! U can use this after 10 weeks (sometimes earlier) so will see how I feel between the 6 week-20 week wait?! I don't want to find out the sex if I can help it...so my scans are purely just to see if everything is growing ok etc...
Well there are my thoughts for today...boobs a tingle, gas a plenty (my IBS isn't helping either), the odd sensation in abdomen...but still relaxed and enjoying being pregnant!!!!
Well today is abit of a milestone for me as I lost my baby last year when it was 5 weeks old, even though I was 13 weeks gone (it had died a long time before)...
I casually rang the Docs to see if urine sample had come back...and my pregnancy test was negative...It was the same urine used when I got my BFP (but the next day 'old wee') with the CB Digi...what do the docs use???? They should use good ones...sheeesh...but it could b coz of the 'old wee'...
So what did I do...yes, you guessed it- used my remaining CB Digi...of course it was 'PREGNANT'..but just had to make sure!!!lol
I have booked in with the EPU for an early scan which is April 2nd...I will be 8 weeks then...its not a dating scan, so it looks like I can still have the 12 week scan!!! And then up until 20 weeks, I will use my doppler!!!
Also I have booked my first appointment telephone call with the midwife for April 4th....
Still getting tingly boobs and mild movements in abdomen...also feel like I need to trump, but don't really, if you know what I mean!!! (TMI)
Also started to think about ectopic pregnancies...why do we do things like this??? I haven't got any symptoms or anything but I just can't help myself thinking about the worst case scenarios...damn the internet!!!
But I am working very hard to keep myself busy...and Grace is entertaining me no end at the mo! Its her first day at Nursery tomorrow!!!

Just have to say - my sis also treks rounds sunny Manchester selling sanitary bins!!!!!!!!
