Q from a TTCCer about OPKS. Help!

Hi ladies,

congrats on you all being in first tri!

i hope to join you soon!!!

basically my question is - did any of you fall pregnant without ever getting a pos opk?

i'm on CD 19 (second cycle after stopping BCP in dec 08) and i'm seriously losing hope of seeing a pos. been testing twice a day since CD8 and all i get are really faint second lines on IC 30miu.

however i do have a cross between EWCM/watery and my breasts have become a bit sore, spots (lovely!).

have been temping with FF and my temps are all pretty even so far, so don't think i have O'd yet but keep thinking is it posible to just not get a pos and still O.

I tried using ovulation tests and i actually gave up hope!! I know some ladys on here used them and they worked but i just never seemed to get them to work so i just left it up to chance!!!

Sorry, I'm not much help with this one. I did one OPK the month I got my

and it was VERY positive. I am going to note that Husband and I were using them as B/C though, so we used a condom the night I got the pos OPK.

I never got anything other than faint lines on them and in the end gave up with them

i used opks for 2 cycle and got a dark pos the first cycle on CD17 then the cycle i got preg on in jan i got pos on CD15 they worked brill for me but some women get a short surge and do miss the pos but some like me get long surge i had a pos for 3 days then it faded off but then came bk with a vengance picking up hcg from my pregnancy x x x
worth keeping if ur gonna give up as they a brill dettor of early hcg and late too x x got some brill pics in gallery of real dark pos opk as a hpt have a look x x x x x

i used them, last 2 months i gave up on them too early, and must have ovulated later. this time i kept going and going and going, and suddenly one day i got a fabulous positive, had lots of sex and conceived, hurrah! so, don't give up or lose hope. you might suddenly get a positive. i got my positive about 7 days after my EWCM started.
