I don't want to be considered a lurker so I thought I would introduce myself and say hello! I'm 37, and after many surgeries last year, decided that life is too short and decided to marry my wonderful boyfriend of 5 years. Our fertility specialist gave us a 3-5% chance of conceiving and we had basically set our minds to adoption or IVF.

Well, we got the surprise of our lives when we got pregnant last month after just going off the pill. I love my doctor but I love the fact that we have been blessed so soon against all our odds. I am very worried about everything but go tomorrow for our first scan and already scheduled for our 2nd scan next week (heartbeat).

I'm looking forward to getting to know many of you throughout this process and I wish you the best with your current process!
