Getting worried now - took another CB digi test - update page 3

OK so I took a CB digi test last Wednesday morning (day after AF was due) and it said 1-2 weeks since conception.

Took the second one this morning expecting it to say either 2-3 weeks or even 3+ as I am sure we conceived around the 28th/29th Dec (have not done BD since then so can't be much later). Test said 1-2 weeks since conception still

I did worry that test would be invalid this morning as I didn't have much FMU and thought I missed the stick with most of it so it may be that there was a lot less urine on the stick compared to last week but now worried that it could be a chemical pregnancy or that I am about to mc as surely it should have gone up by now.

Told DH I will buy some more CB digis and try another one tomorrow morning and make sure I drink alot before going to bed so I have more FMU. If it doesn't go up in a couple of days then I guess I will just have to wait for nature to take its course and see if I mc

Anyone else had strange test results from CB digi?

yes but !! did u do the 2nd test with FMU hun ? same thing happened to me ! so i bought another,did it with me, first one was 2-3 .... wk later 2-3 that was afternoon tho, so did another 2days later and said 3+ also, if u were only a few days past conception when it first said 1-2 maybe u were 5-6days pg past conception !!!!! if uknow wot i mean ?

Both tests were done same time in morning with FMU one week apart.

I don't see how it could have been 5-6 days since conception as it's been over 3+ weeks since I last did BD so unless hubby has got amazingly long living semen it surely couldn't be possible.

If u are worried contact your doctor anbd ask if u can have your levels checked x

My doctor told me that you do not concieve on the day you BD as it can take up to 5 days for the egg to be fertilised and attach so this may be why your test is still saying 1-2 weeks .

I have had trouble with the digi ones. I did both a week or so apart and I went from 1-2 weeks, to 3+ so I got all excited and sorted out my due dates etc but then I went to have a scan as I just wanted some reassurance and they put me back 6 days. I was obv really worried but the sonographer said that these digi ones are causing quite a few troubles as they aren't definite about the amount of weeks (not that you are pregnant or not) and are causing confusion for people. I am still quite worried about it them putting me back days but I am trying to listen to the sonographer about the tests. They saw the HB and said there was lots of fluid etc so all is ok. Try not to worry too much which I know isn't easy but I think there are quite a few factors which can affect the dates given on the test. I hope it is all ok for you.

Try not to worry hun. Perhaps your doctor can put your mind at rest?

I found that my FMU was too pale/diluted to get a decent reading, as I drink too much water before bed & during the night. I got better results with mid morning pee, after holding it in for a few hours

Also 5+3 is only just in the 2-3 week bracket, so maybe you just double you HCG slightly slower, I'm pretty sure we are all different xxx
