Well I have a nightmare morning so far.

We were running late for a start, then my dd took the bar away from the back door and it fell, it just missed her by millimeters (its not been fixed by the hinges yet cos its new). I screamed and she was inconsolable screaming I want my daddy. I was still shaking when I got in the car and as I pulled off the drive, I cant have been paying attention cos the gates scraped all down the back door! Its in a total mess!

Then when I finally set off, I got stuck in a diversion... I managed to re direct and eventually got to the surgery 10mins late.

As for my appointment, well my mw seemed totally uninterested... I may have just still been feeling crap after the hell getting there, but she didnt even try to hear babs like she did the last 2 pg. It only took about 5mins (like I was wasting her time) and I only go back when I am 18weeks, cos this is my 3rd!! Oh and to make me feel doubly rubbish, she said there is every posibility that I will not get a 12wk scan cos I had one at 7wk! So the first time we can hear the heart is when I am nearly 5mths gone! We cant afford a private scan or doppler this time so I feel really sad.

To top it all off, my dh has thrown our pici out that we got at 7wks. I put it in an envelope (to keep it safe) on the dining table and he thought it was rubbish and threw it in the bin. I Just feel totally deflated and disappointed. I guess we will just have to wait and see if I get a scan at 12 wks.

hey honey, sorry tohear about your rubbish mornin, hope it starts to look up for you.

With your scan, my SIL had a scan at 8+2 and didnt get a 12 weeks scan, but was told if she wud hav been scanned at 7+9 she would hav still got the 12 weeks scan, as anythin before 8 weeks doesnt count as a datind scan.

This maybe different in defferent areas/countries, but hope this helps x

Thanks for that. We are in the Isle of Man, so its not the UK but we have a very similar system. Just different money and our own government... oh and usually loads better healthcare.

I just had a certain level of expectation as I have been through it before, but it would appear that they are not bothered when its your 3rd. Its all just as exciting as my 1st was to me! In a way its more exciting cos this could be our last one. I want to enjoy ever bit... sickness and all.

I dont blame you! Every pregnancy should be treated the same, what makes you any different to someone who is expecting their 1st? Its so silly! Its like theyre sayin your not gonna love this 1 as much as the others because you've 'been there done that!'

But its completely the oppsite, this is my second babym 3rd pregancy, and its still as exciting and scary as the 1st x

Aww hun, hope u feel better soon, and things start to get better. I hate it when i have rubbish days hope u get ur 12week scan. Fingers crossed for u
