restless

Feeling restless. I’m not sleeping properly. I went to bed at 10pm but im waking up through the night, I’m tossing and turning, then when I get to work I want to go to sleep. Its like baby hibernates in the day time and wakes in the night. Its exhausting, this growing a person business
Plus I feel consistently hungry – however it’s the exhaustion that is more crippling now. 4 more days in first trimester then facebook will know

We announced the wedding and baby to inlaws on Friday night. About ten mins before BIL was telling us how all women, especially pregnant women, are total scum. When we mentioned the baby, his face was like thunder. When simon was going up to the loo, Jason (bil) said this: ‘I am happy, but im angry too. Cos you are gonna be all married and happy and seeing your baby all the time and I have to fight to see my son and no one wants me’

Bear in mind his a convicted criminal who is currently on bail for grooming a 14 year old, and he doesn’t see his son anymore because he threatened babies mother with violence. In 7 months he;s seen his son once for two hours and he grumbles he has to go through a solicitor. The next 6 months should be FUN! Not! Lol. He also assumes he is gonna have access to my child - wrooooong

Not really got any tips hun but can sympathise! It's the getting up for the toilet during the night 4 times that drives me mad! I always seem to need to go around 5am, and then lay awake for about 2 hours trying to drift back off. My mind just seems to be in overdrive all the time!
Hopefully 2nd trimester these issues may start to decrease a little and we'll get that burst of energy everyone talks about!
Oh and good luck with the BIL situation, sounds like a bloody nightmare!
xxxxxxx

i have the same issues and I find it difficult to get back to sleep. i have downloaded 'magic sleep' on my iphone and it helps me drift back off as i concentrate on the sounds rather than my thoughts... also a maternity pillow means im much more comfortable.... still wake up but I can drift back off... good luck xx
