Hey guys, im in a bit of a tizz right now and looking for some advice. My mum told my couain i was pregnant which i dont mind but my cousin then went and posted on my fb wall congrats etc and everyone seen it!!

Ordinarily i wouldnt mind but i had bleeding at 9 weeks and although everything is okay im still really worried about mmc when i get my next scan on the 8th of Feb. how the hell would i manage?

Now i know everyone is going to ask me plenty questions about due dates and stuff on facebook and i just dont want to talk about it with them. i feel safer here. xx

temporarily deactivate your account. You wont lose all your friends, they just wont be able to view your profile til you are ready to face the world xxx

For this reason exactly, I went into the privacy settings and made it where nobody can directly post on my wall. They can comment on my posts, but they can't put anything on my wall.

People are stupid sometimes! My boss (a head teacher) told some teachers from another school about me, I went to a meeting on Thursday and everyone knew! I'm fuming!

This is why I steer clear of facebook! Me and my husband have profiles to stay in touch with distant friends and relatives but rarely ever use it. Everyone that we speak to on a regular basis all have our phone numbers! I find facebook an invasion of privacy and I don't understand why people feel the need to update the world on where they are or what they are doing every single minute of the day! Sorry your news was shared earlier than you are comfortable with im sure everything is ok with you and baby you are doing the right thing just put your feet up rest and take it easy for as long as you can. In my experience when I've had bleeding I've been referred for an early scan so maybe call your midwife again? good luck hun

Bless you I'd be so annoyed if my friends found out via a third party on facebook. I'm not telling anyone til our scan and parents are under strict instructions not to either! X
