Doppler arrived this morning!!!

Has anyone got any advice on how to find baby. Found my heartbeat and whooshing of placenta but can't find baby. I know it might be too early as I'm only 11 weeks but anyone got any tips such a full bladder, empty? That sort of thing x

Baby will still be very tiny, and low fourth. No harm in trying both full/empty bladder. You may not find baby just yet, give it time & don't panic if you don't your still early on and some find it some don't

Hope you find it soon! Its great to use them

Dont worry if you cant find it yet, bubba is still very small. I am one of the lucky ones that has found my bubba's heartbeat. I check when i first wake up (but have found it during the day aswell) i hang my legs over the bed so it brings my abdomen up, and i think in turn brings uterus up aswell. Start in the middle just above your hairline, move the doppler left and right, just a little, do wait a little tho as baby could move. If nothing slightly move up and repeat. You need alot of patients. If you hear the wooshing sound of the placenta then baby is around there somewhere, mine is just below and to the left of placenta, but remember that baby could be behind placenta and if that is the case you will find it very hard to hear heartbeat or not at all. You could always wait for your next scan and pay attention to where they put the ultrasound probe and where baby is lying, thats what i did at my 10 weeks scan, and found baby's heartbeat the next day. Good luck xxx
