Terrified of missed miscarriage..

I don't know why but I have got this thing in my head lately that I will get to my 12week scan and find my baby has gone.

There is no reason to think this I have had 2 early scans and baby was doing great. I still feel nauseas, tired, and having food cravings and aversions but i know some ladies still have symptoms with a MMC. I can't stop thinking about it and I've tried speaking to my OH but he just says im being daft.

I'm feeling exactly the same hun, and although I don't have any answers or cures for the worry, I just want you to know I'm in the same boat. I'm very prone to MCs and I cannot stop thinking about it. No one in my family including my OH are taking me seriously and I'm so scared I don't know what to do. I've not had any scans yet, I'm still getting symptoms and HPTs are still coming out strong but it's not helping ease my worry at all!!

I'm petrified too! 5 weeks pregnant so have a long panic wait yet.

The thought has slipped into my mind a couple of times, i dont really have many symptoms! But you just have to remember having a healthy pregnancy is much more likely than a MMC or MC, Just stay positive! Dont let those thoughts get to you! xx

I have my scan next Thursday, and everyday this is going through my head, i found out last Tuesday when the scan is and it has seemed the longest 4 days EVER! I to had a mc in September, guess i don't believe that i could be lucky enough to have a healthy pregnancy and baby

I had an mmc last pregnancy I had some spotting so was referred for an early scan at 8 weeks all was ok we seen the heartbeat and got told told they couldn't see where the blood was coming from and it sometimes happens. Never had any problems after that symptoms were still there and when we went for our 12 week scan the baby had stopped growing at just over 9 weeks!
I'm scared that it will happen again but I haven't had an early scan this time just waiting it out, I'm feeling more positive this time and I know how low the chances are of miscarrying especially last time that we seen the heartbeat the chances are even lower so I know we were just unlucky. Hang in there not long to go!

it is a common worry that most if not all women have,
i think the internet and recent stories of celebs on tv losing babies doesnt help

just got to think positive

I feel exactly the same. I think it is because more people write about mcs and mmcs than successes. I have four days to wait to find out. I've tried to tell myself that even if it is sad news, to be grateful that at least I can get pregnant. It wasn't long ago that I was browsing the 'never conceived' section worried that I'll never get a bfp.
