chocolate milk?

hello,

i was wondering if drinking chocolate milk still gives me the calcium that i need for the baby? someone had told me that the chocolate makes your body not be able to use the calcium in the milk. what about chocolate ovaltine mixed with milk? i have been drinking this instead of plain milk because it makes me ill and i just dont like the taste to tell you the truth. let me know what you think!

thanks!

Milk isn't the only way to get calcium, it is found in dairy products such as yoghurt, cheese etc, leafy green vegetables (brocolli is a good source), nuts and seeds (almonds, brazils, sesame seeds), tofu, and dried fruit. To make sure that your body is using the calcium you need vit D for absorbtion of calcium, so make sure you get some time in the sun (easier said then done at the moment) but not too much.
