Hello.
Im only 15 and i had sex for the first time 5 days ago. I think i am pregnant. All the signs r there i just have to wait 3 weeks for my period so i can do the test and for it to be accurate. The father is 18 and he knows. He wants me to have an abortion but if i decide not to he will be supprtive and stand by me and the baby. We arnt in a relationship either we broke up a few months ago. Be4 we had sex. I have no idea what to do. Has anyone been in this situation? I dont want to drop out of school either but part of me wants to have the baby. Can anyone relate to this?

Hey, the thing is you can't tell if you are pregnant 5 days after you have sex-the embryo hasn't even implanted yet, so you might not have gotten pregnant. When is your period due?

Please use protection the next time around, and maybe see if you can get put on the pill.

edit, oh i see your period is due in 3 weeks-if so, then chances point to the fact that you are not pregnant because you ovulate 14 days before you period

No sense worrying about it until your period is late really in my opinion

Just try not to stress out too much, stress can make your period late even if you're not pregnant. If you're late, take a test. Most of the symptoms of pregnancy you're experiencing are probably just your nerves, more than likely just you panicking as you've just had sex the first time and are scared.

ALWAYS use 2 methods of birth control. A condom and the pill would be good,
I got pregnant on the pill one of the few times my boyfriend didn't use a condom.
It happens.. so always use 2 methods when you definitely are not ready to be pregnant!

Also, if need be, remember you can get Plan B at any pharmacy.. depending on where you live. In Canada you can get it for $40, I know in the USA you might need to be 18.. but remember it as an option in case of emergency. It is not intended to be used as a form of birth control however

as u are only due on in 3 wks as has been seid the chanes of u being preg in very unlikly as u ovulate 14 days befor ur af so say u have a 28 day (from the 1st day of ur last af to the 1st day of ur next) and u r 3 wks away u will be 21 days away wich only makes u 7 dasy from the last u wnt ovulate untill day 14 and can ONLY get preg when u have ovulate and 24-36 hrs after

As the other ladies said as your period is due in 3 weeks the chances of you being pregnant are so so remote, you don't ovulate till 2 weeks before your period. Its just your nerves making you feel like you are and the worry can make your period late too but if it is then take a test but I really wouldn't worry about it. If it happens again go and see your dr and get the morning after pill but this shouldn't be used as a form of contraception, please be careful sweetie. Take care
