jealous girlfriends

So My husband and I decided to invite my 2 best friends over on Saturday night so we could break the news.

My best friend Christine I have known since age 10
My best friend Katie I have known since like 5

Anyhow they came to my house Katie came with her bf and Christine came with her fiance.

So when I had the 2 girls alone in my family room I decided to tell them.
They did not seem at all excited for me! They did not smile, scream, hug me or anything. They were like congratulations.....that's awesome....I am happy for you with no excitement. I was thinking WTF! and my husband could not believe their reaction as he overheard their reaction from the other room.

My girlfriend Christine planned to ttc in a year and half, but 4 months ago when I started ttc she changed her mind and said in June she will ttc the month of her wedding. She is really hoping for twins and told me that if I have twins she will be so jealous. WTF

My gf Katie is not even close to officially ttc, but my friend Christine said she had a pregnancy scare 3 months ago when she decided to stop birth control one month without telling her bf.

Am I the only who has to deal with jealous gf! Couldn't they at least pretend to be happy for me!!

My best friend is also jealous of my pregnancy.. a little bit. She shows it differently than your friends did though! She whines about how amazing my boyfriend is now that he's going to be a daddy and how different our relationship is now.. how she wishes she had that, etc. Anyways, she ended up getting pregnant after I did, about 2 months after.. and having a miscarriage. We're young and that made her realize she's not ready for a baby and wants to wait though.. she's excited I guess though, always touching my belly and putting her face up against it, guess it's cute lol.

I have the same thing going on. I have one friends that is bummed cause we were planning on taking a trip this winter to some place warm with unlimited booze and DH and I both were suprised cause that was the first thing she said....its was like ok....no congrats! THANKS! Ya know!

Then I have another friend who thinks its cool to tell me she doesn't want to hear about my pregnancy cause shes already been there and done that.

I do have other friends that are super happy for me and excited and those are the ones that I rather be around!

Oh man, that's not cool at all. Half of the excitement is telling your good friends!!!! What lousy reactions, that's really too bad.

I have a friend who has a 6 week old little boy, when I told her I was pregnant, she went mad, having a go at me for being pregnant and being really horrible to me.

Turns out she's jealous of me because she wanted to be the only pregnant/mother in our group of friends (she told a friend of ours this who told me as she thinks its very pathetic of her)

I also knew a girl at college who was ttc for one month, and was devestated when I was pg and she wasn't, she turned really nasty to me and started spreading lies about me

my best friend that ive known since i was 4, hasnt even congratulated me yet i told he and she just said she's talk to me when she next saw me but she hasnt said anything yet, my other good friend m/c last year and i m/c a few months after and when i told her she said that i didnt deserve a baby because she had been ttc longer than me so i was a bit like WTF!

I m/c back in january this year and in june my sister told my mum that she had m/c too, but then turned around and said she wasnt pregnant in the first place she just thought she might get a bit of attention fron the family ( what a bitch) but now she wants nothing to do with my family and havent spoken to her since that incident.

Jealousy does insane things to your mind. I'm sure they haven't meant to hurt your feelings!

We're all excited for you even if they aren't!!

Congratulations xxx

I know the friends of mine that are thought were the closest are the ones that are not even happy for me! One of them even told me that she will be totally pissed if someone is preg the same time she gets preg because she wants all the attention on her. I Probably will be preg the same time as her because in the next 5 years we are hoping to have at least 3-4 kids. I think I am going to have to distance myself from these girls eventually. I can't put up with that BS.

One of my girlfriends who has realy bad endometrosis and has to have a hysterectomy soon is super excited for me...........go figure
