The best thing I have ever found for a stuffed nose are "Breathe Right Strips". There's no medication at all. It's a sticky thing you put on the OUTSIDE of your nose and it always works for me. Even when I can't sleep because I can't breathe and you're so uncomfortable, these things are awesome! I strongly suggest trying them! Good luck! :-)

I've had the same thing. I went to the chemist (pharmacy) and they gave me some saline spray, which is nonmedicated and basically helps clear your nose by enabling you to actually blow something out rather than it being completely blocked. They also gave me some paediatric nasal spray which has been a complete miracle for me. It COMPLETELY clears my nose and sinuses, and it's very safe for pregnancy (as it's so gentle it's for ages 0-6, and the active ingredient doesn't cross the placenta). The only problem with medicated nasal sprays is that you can only take them for 5 days at a time because if you take it longer you're likely to get rebound congestion that won't respond to medication.
Benadryl is also considered safe for pregnancy- it's often prescribed for congestion and also for sleep. If it didn't use to make you sleepy, it's more likely to now.
Vick's Vaporub is safe for pregnancy- you can rub it on your chest, or soles of feet before bed, or put it in steaming water and inhale.

Here are some other nonmedicated routes:

"There are several homemade inhalers for curing nasal congestion. Firstly, boil a glass of water and add a pinch of salt to it. Fill it in a clean bacteria-free bottle. Allow it to warm and then with the help of a dropper put 2-3 drops in each nostril by keeping your face upward, facing the sky. This salt solution actually helps in loosening the mucus and other sticky material. Once the solution soaks the nostril and throat, exhale and clean your nose.

One may also add small amount (1 teaspoon) of baking soda into the salt solution. This too helps in loosening the congestion inside the nose.

Other homemade inhalers are, 1-2 drops of peppermint oil on a cotton cloth or cotton ball. Bring it near your nose and inhale, the very essence of peppermint will help relief from sinus, mucus and hence nasal congestion. Similarly, grapefruit juice mixed in lukewarm water can also be used as inhaler. This too is quite effective in treating sinus and hence nasal congestion. This can be best taken while going to bed or early in the morning. This is one of the important home remedies for nasal congestion."

More detailed instructions with the baking soda (bicarb) rinse:

"Another effective rinse combines a 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp of baking soda in 8 ounces of warm water. Use the eye dropper to place several drops of the liquid in the nose, with the head tilted backward. Wait a few minutes, then blow the nose."

I've heard from other pregnant moms that the baking soda works very well, though I haven't tried it yet myself.
