Anyone else experience this?

Hi there,

I got quite ill with a flu,cough and high fever about 3 weeks back, and also had cystitis and so I had to take antibiotics. Around day 3 of the course, I developed an awful taste in the mouth, like everything tasted bad or bitter, n I couldnt enjoy any food. I assumed this was due to the antibiotics I was taking.
Since I stopped though, the bad taste has improved only slightly, but still continues, some days worse than others. The only relief I get from this is while Im actually eating something, but the moment Im done, the bitter/bad taste returns.

Im just wondering, does anyone else experience this as well?
I haven't really heard of a bad taste in the mouth being related to early pregnancy, but just thought I'd check with you guys.
Any advice on what I can do about this?

i wake up with an afwull taste in my mouth every morning and didnt have it before being pregnant so i have to get up and get a drink and have breakfast. Also i seem to get it near meal times aswell once i eat sumthing or drink im fine i seem to be drinking alot more!!!

I cant say I have experienced this but i did get a metalic taste in my mouth right at the beginning. Im sure its 'normal' tho just to do with hormones I expect xxxxx
