Haha I had that with this one, I finally got a positive at home, went the docs and asked them to do one and it was negative, luckily I had already had a scan which proved it.

How confusing for you hunny I cant say I have experience with this as the docs here wont confirm pregnancy. And I have no experience with boots or clear blue I sware by tesco own brand. I think you need to have a serious chat with your doc and explain the situation. It can hurt peeing on a few more sticks just to show him. you should take a HPT to the doctors and a urine sample and do the test in front of him and then he may understand your confusion. Maybe they got your sample mixed up?? Good luck hun and congrats on the BFP xxxxx

Hmmmmm weird... Wait a couple of days and do another test and see if it's darker. If is is: take it with you to the doctors office (a different one because obviously the first ones don't know what they are doing!)

Yeah what they said. I imagine the doctors may test for a certain level which is deemed pregnant. However, you might have a low level, but it might be enough to pick up on a HPT, whereas the doctors analysis might miss you off by 0.1 or something daft.

I agree with the others, it might be best to get a digital test and take it at the doctors so he can see it. My gp wouldn't do a test as I was told HPT are more accurate so this might be the case. Hope all goes well. Take care XX

I'd ask for another test to be done at the doctors. Even if it is negative then surely they should be looking into why af hasn't arrived and the fact that you're getting +ive hpts.
