Kicking Myself Now!!! Advice SOS!!

Hey ladies, hope all is well.

Here's my issue.

sometime last week I posted a topic about how I was taking a beating by the symptoms of pregnancy. I had everything from all day nausea, fatigue, greasy hair and skin, sore boobs etc etc. Now ALL these symptoms have completely disappeared in the past 4 days and I'm worried SICK. I'm 8 and half weeks. I don't get up for night wee's anymore, and my appatite has all but vanished.

I don't even feel pregnant anymore just really down. I can't stop thinking the worst and desperately want a scan to check everything is OK. I have an appointment at the doctors tomorrow so I may ask for one then. I'm not the luckiest person in the world and its taken us a while TC so after feeling the joy of a BFP I wouldn't be surprised if my usual luck train crashed and burned as it always does. It's not all doom and gloom though because I have had no spotting, bleeding or cramps of any kind though-out these 8 weeks.

Has anyone elses symptoms just totally vanished at the 8 week mark or am I right to think the worst?

hi honey,

theres me and another buddy who are going through exactly the same thing and we both had scans today and both babies are doing great! im taking it as a lucky pregnancy!

You should be able to get a scan at the fetal unit where i went today. i rang up but then i did have a bleed too. i feel a lot better after having the scan. if the Dr wont refer you ring the EPFAU at the vic. you can google the number. the receptionist i spoke to was lovely and today they were all nice too.

Good luck honey hope you and bubba are fine

xxx

Mine have definitely lessened..except for the emotional bit..that's gotten worse at times. But a lot of the others have gone. I still feel the niggling pain and stuff...tired...but I think it goes up and done hun. No reason to worry!

I started to worry that my symptoms have vanished in the last 2 days. My sis has lectured me twice in two days: She had the same thing in BOTH her pgs (both were healthy and normal). She said that one day she would be fine and the next feel awful. She said it seemed to go in phases... like a symptom would come on (or several), would be around for a bit and then her body would adjust to it and she wouldn't feel it anymore. Until the next one came.

I hope that is all the vanishing of symptoms is!!

Oh, I know it is horrible to feel like you are not progressing in a typical pregnancy pattern of sickness in first weeks. I think you just may be one of the lucky few who avoid sickness! Not ALL woman get sick... or have any symptoms. Look how many woman find out they are pregnant at a very late date.
