| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Long Eaton Posts: 629 | Impatient? Am I being impatient, and irrational? (or am I just being pregnant....?  )We moved house at 8 weeks, to a totally different area, so I didn't have my booking appointment till 9 weeks, a week ago today. The midwife then sent my referal to the hospital, and said I should hear about my 12 week scan soon, and if I don't hear in 2 weeks to let her know. Ok, it's only been a week, and I've not heard anything, but I'm just worried that I'll be 11 weeks weekend coming, and still no date for 12 week scan! Would I be impatient to phone the midwife, say Thursday, and say I've not heard anything about my scan? How early do they normally send out dates for the scans? Are there long waiting lists....?  |
