Who else is 10 weeks?

I was amazed to read today that my baby is growing fingernails...I mean seriously it's only really been in there for about 8 weeks now and already..fingernails? And it's kicking too. They say that all the major structures will be formed by 12 weeks...then it's just development and growing. Does anyone else feel really efficient right now? We get the really hard stuff over and done with in the beginning...then just enjoy and fatten up the rest of the pregnancy. I felt a little emotional when I read about the fingernails...it's just becoming more real every week. Can't wait until I can actually feel the baby kicking me!

I'm 10 weeks on Tuesday and am amazed by all the pics - especially ones on www.ehd.org - there are loads of films and its incredible to watch!

I have my first scan on Tuesday

so can't wait to see if everything is ok. Eventhough I've had fairly rotten symptoms, I still can't quite believe there is a small human being inside my belly, which has not changed shape at all!! I still have my small tyre which says 'I ate too much Sunday lunch', but no shape change or size change since I conceived. So I'm quite looking forward to seeing a bump and seeing my baby is ok!

Us ladies are astonishing creatures aren't we??!!!

Me too! I just read about the fingernails, and hair follicles too! I just can't wait for my scan now!

Good luck on your scan Rinkydink...it's amazing to see their little hearts beating away...although mine at 8 weeks did look rather blob-like! lol.
